Today is the beginning of my hundred-day foray into learning the programming language Swift. I figured posting my progress on my website (albeit not on the main blog as to not clog the RSS feed) would help me strenghten my commitment to this project, together with posting content which may be useful to other people starting with the language.

Throughout the 100 days I will be following Hacking with Swift‘s free “100 Days of Swift” course. I will complete the daily tasks on Xcode Playgrounds,1 which I will post on this website. These pages’ comment section is open so that more experienced people may correct my mistakes, or learners can learn along and ask questions.

  1. “Day 1” is a journal type of post instead of a playground. I was still trying to figure out what the best way to post these was, and I quickly found out a journal is not one of them (too time consuming)
