Hi! Thank you for stopping by. I’m Lorenzo, and this is my small corner of the Internet. Let me show you around.
What is trms? It’s a way for me to become a better thinker. It’s a tool through which I discover which of my ideas stand up to scrutiny, which don’t, and what I am most interested in. It’s a way to share all of my findings with you.
Sometimes I write about habits and productivity:
- The Value of Doing a Little
- The Productivity Trap
- Treat Your Habits Like Meetings
- Willpower Won’t Get You There
- Why you can’t get things done
Sometimes about more specific topics:
- Typography for Non-Designers
- Stoicism: How to Live a Good Life (YouTube)
- The Lindy Effect: The Mental Model to Play the Long Game
Sometimes I write about more personal topics, but which (I think) can still be insightful to others:
Really though, I write about anything that piques my interest, and that I think can make for an interesting read. These, for example:
- Good Writing is Invisible
- Luck is a Choice
- You Need a Quarterly Review
- Communities are Unreasonably Effective
I’m an avid reader and love recommending books and blogs. I have a page for that. Only impactful or insightful stuff goes there. I also recommend fresh reads every Friday in my newsletter.
You can find me on twitter @loregrav, or you can shoot an email at lorenzo@trms dot me. Feel free to say hi, recommend a book, or just tell me what you’re working on today. I reply to all emails.
If you think you’d like to hear from me sometimes, you may consider joining my Friday newsletter.
I send new articles, insightful links, and other things I find neat. This is what one of my emails looks like, for example.
It’s a community of about a hundred people now, it’s a cozy corner of the Internet. I love it, and I’d love for you to give it a try too. I’m not selling anything, I just like sharing stuff I find interesting.
Thank you for checking trms out. I hope you enjoy your stay.
